Just to let you know that starting a dedicated server from the menu it works. People can join my server from the internet and from LAN.
Thank you for the support

* somehow my first reply to your last post doesn't show up *

I didn't try localhost, but I tried my LAN ip (192.168...), my Hamachi IP and 127.0.0.1, but in the meanwhile I could join my own dedicated server when started from the menu. I'll try this approach with my brother. Thanks again

Thank you fretn for pulling in.

I'm already forwarding ports 27950-27980 to my PC and so did my brother, as all the things I could find here in the forum and the github wiki. If I create a internet server I'm the one who can't join. Public servers work indeed, but we would like to start from the beginning in the EASY level.

This same message was refered here before but the solution was not posted, or the reason. I saw lots of references to .cfg files, but not how to make them or even where to put them. Is there some that I can copy to my installation and use the Plug&Pray method?
All we want is to have a good time playing WRTC in cooperative mode.

Hi,

First, a big "Thank You" to who provided this mod. I love coop FPS since the good old Doom.

Now my issue. When running a non-dedicated server at home I can play fine with my wife, but she is the worst teammate one can have for this. Then I invited my brother to join me using Hamachi (yes, I know...). Everything seems to be working and I can play Call of Duty Co-Op with him, but with RTCW-coop after selecting the server the message "waiting gamestate" stays there forever. The same happens when he starts the server. Is there anything (simple, I hope) we can do to solve this? This is a very danger game and I'm afraid to play it alone.

Thanks in advance
