I never had such a bug but I often see AI's spawning without any weapons and they just run around.

I renamed :
zzz_snds.pk3 >>> sp_pak_coop2.pk3
zzz_txtrs.pk3 >>> sp_pak_coop3.pk3
And now game sees these files and allows to work with it.
