I spent like 4 hours trying to get this shit going without success....

Opened particular port, set up server, click on create server.
Friend on his computer clicked on "get server list"
Nothing happened...
HELP.
let him try by typing /connect <your ip address> in his console

ANYONE ABLE TO WRITE A SIMPLE TUTORIAL HOW TO MAKE A ONLINE SERVER FOR THIS GAME?
I searched far and wide, but found nothing.
Here's the problem:
I start server
Friends "gets new server list"
NOTHING
We are NOT playing local. I am talking about online play.
do you have a firewall ?
can you friend connect through the console, as explained in my previous post ?
I tried that, but it just keeps "awaiting gamestate"
So turning firewall off could help?

awaiting gamestate means that he can connect, but that something else is wrong.
can you join your own local server ? (do you start a dedicated server ?)
