There is a player sometimes connecting on this server, he sets the map to chateau and blocks the game at very beginning (pushing him doesn't help).
Is there any admin that can do something against that?
TIA

'{Web}*Venom Night' server must have some custom pk3 files or something, I can't join it too, so try other ones: Midu or ECGN (of course you need to fix your crash problem first).

Does the server run on same computer as client? Are you logged on the server as admin or such?

I tried with server owned by other people online, but I suppose it could work also on a local server with different installation.

what happens if the vote succeeds ? just nothing or a server crash ?

nothing, you just continue to play the current map.
It's not a critical bug, I just noticed it. I suppose it could just be annoying when playing in a server where votes are limited.

It is possible to vote a map that is not present on server: the map list show those installed on client instead.

Sometimes it happens at the end of map to get such error and there is no way to continue to play: any attempt to reconnect to the server will returns a 'Bad Challenge' message. Looking at server list our player still appears to be connected and it seems that the chance to reconnect happens after some hours.
I found this https://bugzilla.icculus.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4686 but I don't see any workaround:
some idea? Is this documented somewhere?

It seems to me that after the recent 'weapon spam' fix, sometimes happens that the panzerfaust become unavailable:
I can pick up it anywhere but still not able to use it.
I paid not much attention to this weird behaviour, maybe because usually I play mainly on fretn server, so I thought it was a temporary issue while test some new feature/code change, but now I see it happens also on ECGN one, where it seems they did some update and use the new fixed version.

I suspect that that fix has revealed some bug somewhere, maybe because the 'free panzerfaust bonus' feature.
Not sure about this, maybe it's just me because I don't like that feature: it looks to me intrusive (it happens as a switch to panzer and return to previous weapon when automatic weapon switch is enabled, so it takes enough time to die or ruin some hard fight action) and unnecessary (what big difference could make a rocket every 10000 points?).

I tried to enable the IRC connection feature but client crashed with the following error:

^1IRC: ^2Joined IRC chat.
----- Client Shutdown (Client fatal crashed: VM_Call with NULL vm) -----
RE_Shutdown( 1 )
Hunk_Clear: reset the hunk ok
OpenAL capture device closed.

That happens also in other map's doors sometimes :-)
Weird, they use the last rtcwcoop version for linux

I was playing with him, I don't think the client version is relevant (mine is 1.0.1):
the server was ECGN 24/7 and it happened only at that time on that map.

This problem happened to me today for the first time when trying to connect on a private server:

^3menu file not found: ui/ingame.txt, using default
********************
ERROR: ^1default menu file not found: ui/menus.txt, unable to continue!

this sounds like the server has custom files not included in a standard installation (mine was a temporary fresh new copy of rtcwcoop 1.0.1 including required original game packages).
