The community is growing. I can see this on my own server. It is great to see this. :-)

I agree to this too. I must admit, that i never was really happy with ET, buta year or so ago, i started to play every now and then. It is frustrating, if you want to join a server for a nice little game, and can brew a coffe while waiting for minutes of downloading custom stuff. Sometimes, it needed so much time, that the map on the server changed while i was download the custom stuff, and the download crazieness started again.

And, much of this stuff often is simply shit.

Some years ago, i sat on a coffeeshop in an airport, next beside of me was a family from the netherlands. Crazy thing was, after a couple of minutes, i understood the first sentences, and after ten minutes, i got an idea of what they are talking about.
Remembered me of the The 13th Warrior, where the arab slowly understood more of what the northmen talking about. :-D

I like that idea. If this fix the scripting problem on this map the easy way, this should be done.

Heh, funny enough, i can understand this without translation. :-D

Ich habe momentan keine Zeit dafür, ich bin zu beschäftigt mit Bugfixing.

That was german.

What difficulty level are you using and how many players are in game? I've tested this thoroughly and  the door always opens as long as all of the zombies (and the boss) in the map are killed.

On easy.

but its sometimes very demotivating to hear that some fixes just break 1000 other things smile

I hope you are not too demotivated. Even with some bugs i have many fun, playing this with others in coop. This is one of my all time favourite games, and i own approximately 20 different versions of it. :-D

On Windows 7 64Bit the sound is screwed somehow.
Many scripts does not work, escape2 last door for example.
On the final map, i got a strange behaviour too. There stand three supersoldiers, not attacking, After shooting them "down" they just reappear, and Heinrich standing in a corner, just as cannon fodder. However, it was possible to kill him, and the script ended correctly.

Satellites wasn't very often used back in the days of the WWII. :-D

I want to post something positive now. Stability is increased massive. My server is now running since approximately 30 hours without crashing. Thank you. \o/

Don't get me wrong, i would love to see new maps. But i am not very optimistic, that this will ever happen.

Evil B.J.

Two funny bugs.

One of the half naked girls have a MP40 now.

And there is a evil B.J. out for killing you. :-D

Ideas alone won't help. The mapping scene for the game is pretty small there days.

New in 0.9.2:
Anims and sound for handgrenades missing.
In some maps (i.e. escape2) there is a massive explosion effect at map start, out of nowhere.
I crypt2 sometimes the known bug with the door not open still happen.

I am not looking forward to this, this optimistic. I remember Hal Life: Decay, where you have certain sections, you can not finish alone. It is dead now, because nobody play it, and in solo player it is not usable.

Time Gate would be my choice too. It is a really nice and complete mapset.

it ist possible that you where playing on a server with maxlives on ?

and that you where speccing a player who had no lives left ?

Definitely not, the other player does respawn and fight.

The latter was the case, i had even the case, where the counter reaches zero, and i do not respawn, but had another counter.

I talk about the display of the limbotime, it seems, that if you are in limbo, following another player, who is in limbotime too, that you see his limbotime, not yours.

Thank you. :-)

I hate that deploying time stuff, you never know if it is your counter, or if it is the counter of the player you are following. And i had the impression, that it sometimes skip a cycle, so you have to wait 40 seconds instead of 20 seconds. Is there a cvar to set/disable deploying time?

It is still not v1.0, we testing to find bugs, so that in the end the game works. ;-)

Edit: In the vote menu, in tab MAP no map is shown.

Church map: Helga and her technician did not flee. Map isn't finishable, because one objective missing.
